Would like to be involved with the comp from the start but i have comittments in the morning. The weather looks great so will be launching at lunch time. Andy can you let me know what channel you will be on and if its still happening I could register late. Should only take me 10mins to win the comp for the NOR team anyway.

Launch can be any time after 6-30am so that's not a problem, just make sure you get your entry fees into Tim or myself as soon as you can once you get ashore. We will have a lot to organise so if you can remember to do that , it would be greatly appreciated.
As for the channel we will be on the boat to boat channel (96 I think) once we have logged in on channel 91.

I would love to come but Macca and I are going out from Two Rocks Saturday , may even see some of you's out there if we head south from Two Rocks but I recon we will be heading North west from 2Rocks , have a good one , I will be trying to get some demersals on jigs if we find some good ground .

Good luck guys, hope you manage to get into a few fish! I'm off down the coast again tomorrow with Nick and will leave you in the most capable of hands with Mr Mac at the helm. I wish I could be there, but alas, I'll be there in spirit and remember, its all about having fun and enjoying yourself! I look foward to seeing a few great pics from the weekend when I get back next Thursday.

Sorry Sharky this one is a Bluewater event
I think there is a very strong case to organize a shore based comp some time in the future though if we get enough support for one. Perhaps you can start another thread asking that very question and get some expressions of interest.
I know its pretty tough trying to get a deckie spot as its pretty much all spots are taken by regular crew. Quite a few of us have taken on new fishwrecked deckies for the comp, but again lots of deckies and only a few spots. Sorry mate.
By the way, what on earth is that in your avatar???? Is it a fish dakking a mermaid or a merman?
