It was in our local rag
newspaper that sometime next year they are closing the north mole and widing the road then putting boat stackers in.

Big rays and sharks
Was there on saturday morning.
Had 5 runs in couple of hours. Landed an eagle ray and a hammer head.
Both released safely. other 3 where unstoppables.
one chewed my 80 pound leader, one straightened my hook on a 20 kg drag.
last one was very unfortunate, when i had the fish running towards south a boat came and snapped my line.
Lost almost 200 meters of my 50 pound braid.
Over all a good day with sore back.

baits & rig
Used all different baits from my freezer, caught the hammer head with big whiting which i froze couple of weeks ago.
Eagle ray with a big mullet fillet, also used squid and scalie. All got hammered.
Rig, snelled hook with a running shinker.
The fishes where there just because of the cray pots.

Double paternoster rig made
Double paternoster rig made from at least 80lb leader or 1 metre wire trace or 80-100lb line to a running sinker clip and whatever sinker to use at the time depending on tide and current, but i find its best to have at least 10 metres of 80-100lb already spooled onto the reel for safety reasons and easier landing of the fish.
