north mole??anything lately?

hi all,
hmm recently i've not been catching anything at the mole?? i normally catch tailor but nothing recently? atleast nothing good...anybody caught anything apart from bread and butter fish?

what time of year and till when do the salmon run?

Up around the Metro area its
Up around the Metro area its usually in autum. March, april, may...and if your lucky their might be some around in June but hard to come by.
I didnt actually hear of alot of salmon caught from the moles this year.

Yeah same Bodie! As soon as i heard them being caught at the mole there were schooling up at yanchep! so they moved north pretty quickly. I tried every where for them with no luck. Seen heaps of schools offshore but nothing in close.

But down south, i spent 2 weeks last year between margs and augusta.. and im sure i got into the tripple digits of salmon!
Best season for salmon ive had down south that i can remember.
One school was about 30m from shore and i reckon it was 30m and over 50 tonne atleast.... awsome sight.
Bring on easter next year!
