is there such a thing ?
heading to northam tomoz and will have plenty of time to kill. was wondering if there are any redfin in the Avon? around that area ?
I really have no idea on freshwater fishing .....At alllll !!!! but have done a bit of a search and can kit myself out easily enough.

Not much fresh water in the Avon. Almost as salty as sea water with extra minerals from the salt lakes further out.

Yeah , its effectivly dead mate , fish wise, which considering when I worked in the railways ways and works yard there
in the early 80,s , some of the older blokes told me of tales of native perch , and freshwater catties along with freshwater muscles
and yabbys , is a great shame , and shows you whats been lost.
Best thing for all the southwest rivers below perth, is a massive flood , with every river running at full strenght for weeks on end to blow
all the crap, silt , fertalizer etc etc out of them.
Wont be happening in our lifetime ( if ever).
