Northcliffe Salmon?
Submitted by trav32 on Thu, 2012-02-02 10:50
Last time I went to Northcliffe/Windy Harbour I caught some King George Whiting and small salmon trout. I fished the beach adjacent to the caravan park. Does anyone know what might be biting this time of the year off the beach around this region? I had planned a day trip hoping to catch salmon off the beaches around the local area, most likely this Monday 6/2/12. Advice welcome :)

Thanks for the advice ricey!
Thanks for the advice ricey! It sounds like salmon bay is a more featured beach than what I've come to expect from most of my local beaches and promises to be a good spot when i make the trip. Is the swell a major concern at that beach? During my last visit the waves were enormous.
