doesnt matter
I dont mind either way have caught plenty of Dhu's on a northerly. In a ercent club comp in sloppy northerly not many boats went out but for the ones that did we cleaned up with some big dhu's weighed in particularly one that was 21.7kg for one bloke and another at 15.3kg for my deckie.
goes to show that you wont catch anything by giving it a miss, and the northerly cant be that bad

Was thinking that (not that I have experience to offer an opinion), but northerly wind usually comes from a low system, i.e. falling barometer

Northerly means you going to
Northerly means you going to get flogged weather wise. I fish regardless particularly in comps and still do ok but prefer the forcast to be anything but. Just hard work on the crew.
Does anyone know where the love of god goes, when the waves turn the minutes to hours?
