northely wind

hey all so what everyons thoughts on fishing in a northerly wind have heard people saying fishing is no good? just chasen peoples thoughts as sunday is looken ok to get out and have a go

I dont mind either way have caught plenty of Dhu's on a northerly.  In a ercent club comp in sloppy northerly not many boats went out but for the ones that did we cleaned up with some big dhu's weighed in particularly one that was 21.7kg for one bloke and another at 15.3kg for my deckie.

goes to show that you wont catch anything by giving it a miss, and the northerly cant be that bad

 winds in the nrth (no good fisherman go forth ,when the winds in the west fish bite the best) i personally love the nrth east wind,  always catch fish .tide can be the main factor when in the nrth

Was thinking that (not that I have experience to offer an opinion), but northerly wind usually comes from a low system, i.e. falling barometer

Northerly means you going to get flogged weather wise. I fish regardless particularly in comps and still do ok but prefer the forcast to be anything but. Just hard work on the crew.
