Not a bad demersal session

Not a bad morning last Sunday (last day of this mini demersal season), went out to 30 meters off Two Rocks to a spot that normally fishes fairly well, not today though. Tried everything from plastics, jigs to bait with only a skippy to show for it so headed in a bit closer to a spot just in 20 meters and the sounder was lit up like a Christmas tree! 5 drops with a nomad vertrex vibe, 2 dhus (one was very small so released using a weight), 55cm snapper and a black arse on a squidtrex and something I couldn't stop, absolutely perfect way to end the mini season. Went home with the bigger Dhufish and the blackarse, awesome day

 G'Day Pob,

Which Game Type J is that, and are you happy with the balance with the Lexa? I'm using 8ft Swimbait rods (Daiwa Black Mothers) with my Lexa 300 and 400 reels, which are brilliant outfits for casting stickbaits and trolling deep divers for YFT (true!), but a bit stiff for jigging. Cheers.

Hi mate, that's the Pe3 game type j, feels great, light and easy and wasn't at all phased by that size dhu. That reel also lives on a TD black mother too, love my bait casters, got a Tranx 400 on a tcurve swim bait and my pe2 combos a grappler 300 on a oceans legacy slow element pe2

Tend to drop to bottom, give quite a sharp fast lift so I can feel it vibrate, do that a few time then wind up a bit then repeat, seems to work for me
