Number 2 down and biggest yet

Greetings fellas went to my local spot with a mate, with a strip of Snook caught this beautiful big Mulla approx 1.2m and at a guess 20kg, decided too good to kill so after a good 10min of swimming in the breakers my mate and i got it to swim off. Previous PB was 17kg caught at same spot last April this was noticably bigger and fought extremely well

Very nice croaker mate And good on ya for the release too, it can be hard to let a fish like that go but very rewarding when you see it swim off, well done.

Hmmm did you happen to forget your grey pipe and leave it at the beach today? Just wondering as I noticed one still in the sand while walking the dog this morning.

Thanx for the kind words

Thanx for the kind words guys, was a real effort to get him to swim off, hope hes happy terrorizing schools of fish this morning.

Added another picture, the rod holder is just shy of 101cm so the fish is comfortably 120cm.

Some fish are just to good to be caught just once and need to be released so that other angles can enjoy the experience. Well done
