Nylon anchor rope

i need to get some anchor rope in the next couple weeks and I was wondering if anyone was using nylon anchor rope? In my previous boats I've just used the "silver"branded rope and I was wondering if the nylon was worth the extra $$? Will be using 8m of 8mm chain and 12mm diamater 3 strand nylon rope with a delta anchor.
Also if you have personally used a delta style anchor what size would you recommend? Boat is a 590 trailcraft trailblazer

The pros of nylon are that
The pros of nylon are that it is stronger, softer and has spring in it (softer the rope (looser weave), the more spring). This means that as your boat bounces up and down when on anchor due to waves passing, the anchor rope is taking up more of the shock load, leaving your chain and anchor to just dig in.
I put it on my boat as when we dive, I wanted to increase the chances of coming back to my boat and it being there, not just finding a bit of chafed anchor rope on the bottom.
Further to that, it pretty when spliced into 3m of stainless chain....

As mentioned above. it is
As mentioned above. it is stronger for a given diameter, softer, and has more stretch.
The major negative is that it sinks where as silver rope floats. So you have to lay the rope our as you set the anchor to avoid it falling to the bottom and tangling or catching on structure.
