Does anyone know where I can get some descent occy, both Oceanside and Bluewater totally out and cannot advise when new stocks might arrive....don't want small ones as I skin them so bigger than 1.7kg ?

NJ Craypots in Bibra Lake
NJ Craypots in Bibra Lake usually stock fresh occy.

Would love to support Mick
But he is way the other side of town, we always drop in there when we get out that way but it is not that often.
Paul.......many thanks, gave NJ Craypots a call and it is only 15 minutes down the road, he had a couple of beauties nearing 2kg each so they now reside in my freezer and had plenty of smaller ones for anyone looking

Thanks for the Support
We have Occy as Fisheries allow us to buy from the lobster fishing bycatch, as long as we fully report it monthly under our licences.
We will supply the Bluewater shops in the next few days - Joondalup got the first batch today. The Myaree delivery will be by mid next week.
Thanks again.

Thanks Mick
I needed some for tomorrow, thawed one and skinned it this afternoon, car packed, boat fuelled.....will stop off on FFB and secure some western King wrasse and hopefully get a dhu and snapper or a good BA (my favourite for eating quality and texture) .....out 18 miles from the club where the fish have been on recently.....fingers crossed .

Five bait bag out
Early start, the wind was stronger than forecast, headed out to 48 metres for one small snapper, moved into 46 metres and promptly bagged a stonka black bum and dhuie, heading home by 0930.........five bits of premium occy was all it took

Yes they skin beautifully
I must say I am impressed with the quality of the stuff NJ are selling, headless, nice white meat with no hint of pinkiness. The fish loved it today
