Oceanic fabrication 7.5m
Submitted by Clint21 on Mon, 2019-11-18 18:36
I'm looking at getting an oceanic fabrication 7.5 m built and want to know if anyone on here has one or knows of them, I'm on the east coast so can't really go look , but would like to know about the build quality, and how they ride in the rough? heading into it and with a following sea, if anyone has one are you running twins or a single? Also anything you would have added at build stage? Any comments would be much appreciated
cheers Clint

Big call to build a boat
Big call to build a boat from other side of the country without inspecting workmanship. I would be on a plane to check them out first. Cheap insurance.

Two blokes at work got new
Two blokes at work got new builds last year. No structural or build issues that I have been made aware of.

Oceanic
Bulding one at the moment mate. 7.5 Hardtop. Almost complete. Im 1200kms from perth but doing it remotely hasnt been an issue. The build quality is awesome i have been to the workshop 3 times throughout the build and they are more than happy to walk you through it and change things on the go.
I've gone with 600l of fuel and 200l of water with a relatively small kill tank. I live in NW WA so its too hot up here to utilise a kill tank properly and i wanted the extra fuel for island trips.
Custom seat boxes to house an engle fridge in each side. 750mm of seaed storage in the side pockets on both sides as well.
I also optioned up to 8mm keel plates and 5mm sides as opposed to 6mm and 4mm which is standard.
Will be powered by a 300 suzuki.
Its a family owned/run business and Aris and Bruce have been great to deal with.
PM if you want to know more.
