Cheers guy's, I've got 2 from there and lost many.

Was fishing for snapper at first light and as i set the anchor i dropped down a cube of yaka on the small rod.

Bait were being harased on the surface so i new somthing was up.

Started getting the big gear ready when my Abu 6500 started to scream with 8kg mono disapearing quick.

20 min later i got the first look at it, wasn't sure what i was looking at then realised ther was another croaker with it side by side.

Finaly it hit the deck, because i was by my self i decided that was enough and headed in.

Back at woodies by 7 am just as most were heading out.( please note guys, I used to keep them but now i try to release all mulloway.)

 Grant thanks for sharing,

Why do you now try to release all mulloway?

It would be good to land one let alone release one.

HI Brock. After finally catching a few mulloway and keeping them i started to learn more about them.

A fish that big could easily be 20 years old and be a good breeder.

I don't keep bream anymore for the same reason.

Also IMO they taste very average, the last one i kept ended up as fish cakes on the bbq.

Not a good end to such a great capture, a photo or vid watching it swim away would have been better.

(P.S They don't all release well, i will eat one rather than waste it.)
