straightening hooks and
straightening hooks and bending them inwards two diff things im still annoyed I couldn't get it and it ruined my night of pinkies. This was hooked on a scaly in 11 metres of water. Mustve just been holding onto the bottom hook then crunched it like a coco pop and let go.

Yeah I'd day big ray too. In the shallows any large dhuie, pinky, sambo or the likes would of busted you off on the reef long before it took 200m's of line off the spool.

Ray was my first guess as well.
Those big crushing plates smash shells
Whenever I've seen someone pick up a ray by putting their hand in it's mouth it makes me shudder.

i'ld have to say shark as it
i'ld have to say shark as it useally makes things go off the bite and that run , circles are pretty good at hooking them without trace . i fish with heavier line and those thinner circles , i've had them snap before even on dhuies
