Gurnett have firm flesh that holds together well when cooking. They can be grilled or fried, however they have a very low oil content and the flesh can dry out. Gurnett fillets are good eating.

Scorpian fish are one of the
Scorpian fish are one of the best eating fish in the sea. They give a very painful wound for a fair while if spiked but are worth the risk for the eating quality.

Never kept any myself, but some of the guys I fish with have. Always eaten them never bait. Think I will take a pair of welding gloves out and give them a go as bait next trip (if we catch)
