Ontario Bass

Finally got a decent Bass out of Canadian waters. Probably my last fishing trip in Canada so really stoked. Dirty bloody fighters these things are. Some awesome acrobatics to start with then straight into weeds and sticks, was sure he would bust me off, could feel the line going through some heavy cover....

from the picture it seems to have a small mouth for that size fish, just an observation

Psion the rod I got over here for trout but its nice to fish with, St Croix Wild River. Will probably bring it back and give it a go throwing plastics on the beaches and stuff.

Big fresh lamprey scar on that fish. Poor thing. Hopefully the wound will heal over.
Gonna miss your fishing company. Come back often and give us a shout! Hopefully next time we can find that lake trout for you through the ice.
