opinions... kimberley rod setup

Heading to a pearl farm north of broome for a couple months, just trying to decide if i should invest in another rod for chucking lures for barra and the like.
Got a Eupro twin-craft jiggin rod (120g) with 4000 Exceller that will be fine for live-baiting etc, but possibly a bit stiff for chucking lures into tight spaces, tho i haven't tried... Is it worth getting anotehr rod (to match the exceller), or would I need a whole new setup for that?
Have almost zero experience up that way, so just after opinions, cheers.

I use to work for Paspaley
I use to work for Paspaley and a small Calcutta baitcaster served me well with a Diawa heartland 3 piece that fit in a backpack. Good for flicking hard bodies around in tight places. If you want a good north travel rod the heartland 3 piece was awesome for me for years until my old boy snapped it dragging barra around...
Cheers

Heaps of Jacks in the creeks
Heaps of Jacks in the creeks mate, big Bluebone in the bays and Mackies and Tuna out the front. Mudddies of course as well. I never really targeted Barra in the creeks around there, but I would imagine there would be a few around during summer months. A lot of the creeks along this stretch of coast are sand based so run clear. Not typical barra water. Take a bait caster for the creeks and a spin outfit that will cast poppers, plugs and float out baits etc. Im sure our sponsors will set you right mate.
