Thanks Mick
Surprising how few Salmon were weighed in. But there were a lot of good Mulloway over 10kg and heaps of big Pink Snapper. All the species winning fish were good sizes, with the exception of the Whiting (I'm sure Hutch doesn't mind me saying that!!!).
Weigh-in and prize presentation went pretty smoothly, especially since my son, who is the chief organiser and would have run both, broke down in a remote section of Walpole and didn't make it back to Perth until after the presentations were done. He had to walk 4kms to get mobile reception at 10pm Saturday night, Tow truck came to the rescue at 8am Sunday!!!!
Prizes were awesome (over $25k) and the kids especially had a great time and all walked away with tackle packs even if they weren't species winners.
Thanks again to our sponsors...Getaway, Challenge Marine, Assassin Rods, Active Marine, Diesel Torque, Ozflex, Benbows, West Coast Office Equipment and of course site sponsor Mick from Shorecatch. I hope I didn't miss any.

Daniel's KG
The word "on the street" is that a few had heard about Daniel's KG from the beach and knew a sand whiting wasn't going to do the job so didn't weigh them in.
Comps are funny like that, sometimes the unexpected happens and the little fish wins. If you don't present them at weigh in you will never know what might have been
.
