Some of those hooks would need an angle grinder not just a pair of side cutters to cut the barb off. Got my first hook peircing earlier this year whilst washing my lures
off in freshwater after a trip, naturally you tend to pin your dominate hand , so freeing oneself isn't an option. Have had lots of close shaves with frisky fish but have got wiser
as i have got older. I hope.
