Out wide off Albany

Got to get out to the edge of the shelf off Albany over the weekend and had a cracker session with jigs and plastics. We fished in 90-95m on some good coral ground and landed plenty of good reds, pinks, queenies, dhuies, big skippy and ofcourse a few sambos! The leather jackets kept us on the move though and took quite a few assists and even a couple jigs prisoner but still had a ball using PE2 and PE3 gear all day. Anyway, here's a few pics...

Yeah that last skippy was pretty munted! Had a weird head and mouth and the fins looked like it had either been attacked once before or it was just born mutant. Measured over 95cm that one!

30km out off land but another 15km to get from the marina to there! Took a while sitting on 10knots the whole way. Haha
