PB Bream on Cranka Crab
Submitted by Oceanside Tackle on Mon, 2016-07-04 14:52
Staff member Marc went back out for a quick fish on his new boat Friday arvo with the shop owner Ryan Thipthorp.
The idea was to have a quick fish where the boys got into bream on Cranka Crabs recently but this time they wanted to find a bigger bream.
The boys got into more fish and Marc landed his PB Swan river black bream. The boys put it up against the Swivels Original fish measurer and spot on tip to tip 40cm.
Congrats Marc on your new PB, nice fish on the Cranka Crab and a good photo by boss man Ryan.

Top Fish
It's a cracker.
Sometimes when the water is quiet, you can hear the fish laughing at you !

How do you work em boys? I've tried a very slow wind with a few hops here and there but have had limited success with them. I did have a session where I tried HB, plastics and bait and the only thing they would take is the cranka crab but I basically had the crab drifting along on my second rod while I was casting at snags with my other one.
Officially off the Pies bandwagon

Cranka Crabs
The new single hook model will work for sure and there's going to be a bigger model ideal for bluebone/permit/jacks etc
