pb bream while after tailor
after a week of crappy weather and then a break from it on tuesday i decided on a last moment to go for a flick down at the narrows as the tide was to finish coming in pretty early (12 30) i thought it would be a good night to try for a mulloway plan was to bait cast some half mulies to get some tailor then use that as live bait for the mulla how eva the tailor wernt playing the game and got none. i was down to the dregs of my bait gave the cast out the blowies started smashing the bait but i slowly wound it in and then all of a sudden wham my 2kg line started peeling of my reel and nearly spooled me a run much like a salmon (straight lines and big head shakes) and after about 5 minutes i seen it 1st thought was a small mulla then i realised a massive bream with an awsome bronze shimmer in the light i was stoked didnt get any tailor or mulla that night but am happy as a pig in shit it measured 45cm and weighed 1.4kg beat my pb by 5cm and about 300gms

Nice fish - well done.
Great fish, and you should be happy with that and glad you got a nice feed out of it.
I am not normally one to buy into these sort of things but this time I will. To those that want to be all holier than thou and say it should be let go, I personally believe they should keep those opinions to themselves. If that is what they practice that is great, I hope you do it each and every time. But don't come on these blogs and tell someone else that they were wrong to keep the fish.
Who is to say that this guy (or the next one that posts a nice fish) does not normally let similar fish or the majority of what he catches go back. It is his fish, Its legal and its his decision. Let him enjoy it and share it with you all. He does not need someone to judge his decision or his ethics.
Great fish, Hope you got a real thrill out of it and fantastic that it was good on the tooth.
One more to the high moral judges - just remember if you ever manage to catch that nice 20+Kg Dhufish remember your morals and see him back into the water, won't you...
