Cardinal's Flatty Thread
Submitted by Fossil on Sat, 2012-11-17 05:14
Took me awhile to work out what photos he was trying to put up but I'm pretty sure it's these ones I took from our last flatty session. Sorry for taking so long to get them up Cardinal.

Like the last one, mag quality. I'm looking forward to getting into the Swan River flatties later in the summer.
The best reason for doing what's right today is tomorrow.

Point Walter is a good spot
Point Walter is a good spot to take the family if you SOR with bicton baths as a backup. Claremont jetty if NOR with aqua viva jetty as backup. Both first options can get pretty busy in the evening but the back up spots l gave you are very close by.

Niiiice. Just north of the south perth yacht club? I headed out from there a few weeks ago on a big yuppie boat and thought the flats there looked good for flatties, might have to give it a troll next time Im in the river (cant be arsed finness fishin, trollin works for them)
I am, as I've said, merely competent. But in an age of incompetence, that makes me extraordinary.

Thanks for the compliments on
Thanks for the compliments on the photos. Nothing special about them though, just quick snaps with a 10yr old point & shoot before Cardinal made the release. No finesse in what we were doing Tim-o, anything but.
It's Cardinal's thread so any other info is going to have to come from him I'm afraid.

Unbyass opinion - I've used
Unbyass opinion - I've used Cardinal's Revo Premium a few times & it's a top notch reel. Cardinal's has stood up to alot of punishment but it's still as smooth as the day he got it. Great drag system, light but very stong construction & silky smooth operation. Tough little reel that can easily handle much bigger fish than many other high end reels of equal size. Right up there with reels costing twice as much & I wouldn't hesitate to buy one.
