emso, i bought a boat in
emso, i bought a boat in January and this is the first whiting ive caught. Im an expert on catching wrasse and cods though! lol. Anchored up about 2 mile out of hillarys marina in a clear patch, thru some burley and old mulie pieces in the water, massive school of big skippy went nuts, thru a couple of 4/0 hooks on a 1-2kg rod and had a great time. Glenn was in 8mtrs of water only. It was just a fluke. It killed me to take it home but had no camera on the boat cos i was anticipating another wrasse and cod fiasco, but it tasted good.
