Pemby weekend
Submitted by jighead on Mon, 2022-11-14 16:27
Had a good few days down at pemby for the weekend. Stayed at a sweet little shack on a farm property in channybearup. Probably my pb rainbow in the pics but got another one to the edge that was a bit bigger but it wasn't landed. Bought a few yabs for dinner, so good. Good way to spend a birthday weekend. Thanks to bodgy for the heads up.

Nice fish and a feed of black crabs as well. Never been a good fresh water fisherman cause I just love the scenery, greenery, camping, and the having a beer and laugh. The fish are a bonus imo if I'm fishing.

Nah big John
The trout came from big brook. The reddie was caught in the warren. Some of the biggest ex brood stock fish I've seen in the dam at the moment. Heaps of yearlings as well.

I've caught plenty of trout around Pemby but not a single one in Big Brook Dam. Maybe the time is right!
