Penn prevail OH

 Hey lads

Im looking into getting the prevail OH for my squall 60. I've read up on it and seems it's a quality rod but I've been told it's a very high mount. Does anyone have any input in the rod and if it would be easy to cut it down to make a lower mount. It will be used as an lbg rod so very little casting.

Cheers lads

they are a very high mount. You can get them shortened, as its basically just shrinkwrap the whole way down. I forget if they have a counterweight in the base (havnt picked one up in 6 months). really awesome rods for the price and I really rate them!

Apart from the inevitable brawl firming. How would I go about shortening it? Just cut it with a saw and add a gimbal butt or professionally done by a person that knows what their doing
