Perth Wind Forecast - 3/4th Feb
Saturday: S/SE winds 13/18 knots briefly tending E/NE 10/15 knots during the morning. Winds tending S/SW 15/20 knots near noon then increasing to 20/30 knots during the afternoon. Seas 1.0m rising to 2.0m in the afternoon. Swell rising to 2.5m.
Sunday: S/SW winds 20/30 knots strengthening to S/SW 25/33 knots in the afternoon.
A very strange forecast for Saturday from BOM, south/southeast then tending north/north east at almost the same rate briefly??? Not sure how much I believe that!!! Just checking seabreeze it doesn't look to special for offshore fishing either. It might be a good time to head down and get some crabs from Mandurah or do some landbased fishing for breamskis, tailor/mulloway.
Good luck if you get to wet a line this weekend!
Cheers,
Adam

Only fishing I'll be doing is....
fishing drunks out of the pool, at my wife's 40th birthday bash.
Then fishing the panadol and barocca out of the medicine cupboard to cure my hangover in the morning.
Cheers

Just saw on the news they predict 41 for tomorrow. Won't be bugger all south in it at all until later on, if you want to go offshore fishing tomorrow will be the day!

went out yesterday being saturday. what a day. left at half four headed out to the fads. was lovely and warm hardly any wind until the sun came up and i can say that out at the fads it had alot of south in it. made it interesting. search every fad looking for dollies. found them out at fsyc and lots. landed one lost two at the boat then huge noah surfaced to say hello. suprising how no fich were around after that. Then did some bottom bouncing a ocuple of small fish not worth mentioning and sun burnt to hell we headed in. very weird day

quiet weekend
Went 30klm's out from The Alkimos on Saturday and only managed some small flatties, and one small pinky. Wind wasn’t too bad, travelled all the way out at 8am with full ballast on 20L of juice - :-)
Bugger all crays around in close too (free diving). Had some fun on the biscuit at Quinns for a while. Still an enjoyable day though.
Cheers Jason
