Photo of January 07 Winner - Adam's Dhufish

When voting for the photo of the month, consider the lighting, location, fish and spare a thought as to how hard it is to get a quality photo, or just choose the one you just like. The competition is just for fun, click to enlarge pictures. :)

Should have put your photo of your Dhu'y on the angle Adam.
Would have been a shoe in.

Ooops
I put the wrong numbers in for my dhufish and the Germans mackie, all sorted now! I'm not the winner anyway, its Tapouts photo of my fish and many thanks goes out to him for immortalising it so well for me. Stoked!!!

Poida's background of the cliffs is pretty sweet

There all worthy!!
All though there all good I would choose the Barra pic as I have always wanted to go north and give barra fishing a go!

I picked Spooled's Thready
Great composition
Smiling Angler
Afternoon light effects
Beautiful millpond backdrop
Unique pose with elbow up draws you in instead of the usual "here is my fish pose"
Only distraction are the shadows on the fish and angler.
All the photo's have something different to bring to the comp and would all be worthy winners. Spooled's one just pips them in my book.
Cheers

gotta agree andy .its a good
gotta agree andy .its a good shot and a horse thread .who took the photo spooled? and have they voted for themselves .course.who wouldnt want a free FW shirt .the quaility of photos in the last couple of comps make it very hard to pic a winner.
always in it just the depth that varies

Great analysis
I hadn't noticed the shadow on the thredy before. It's nice to have a photo you've taken broken down into it's parts and some constructive advice offered. Cheers Andy

Photo of the Month
The photo of the month competition has been wrapped up as the votes have stopped trickling in. It was the closest competition to date with Tapout's photo of my dhufish just pipping Scuttlebutt's Barra and closely followed by Spooled's Giant Threadfin. Tapout receives a tanktop for the winning photo.
Make sure you get your entries in for February's competition, theres already a few cracking entries, but you have to be in it to win it!
Cheers,
Adam

Yep
Good luck Spess! Those barra shots of JD's are gonna take some beating!! I will make it easier for Tapout next time and take the hat off to remove the shadow, still, I was just happy to have caught one over the 10kg mark.
