Well I've got f-all room for a boat so it's time to hit the beaches and the rocks and the jetties and what ever else. Being down here in Wellard, we are obviously close tp Rockingham etc, are there any decent LB spots for a pinkie fish around here? I know 30 odd years back it was Palm Beach jetty and places, but I hate the crowds as I've grown older, so what's a good place to chill and soak a line?

Yep the good old Palm Beach Jetty, they were the days, 10-12' surf rod with a 650 deep spool, sleep on the jetty......
You must know some of the old boys, Steve P, Dean D ( RIP ), Steve T etc.
Try AIS or North Mole just after a blow ( NW ).
May be able to take you for a run before I go to Bali as I have a couple of days between returning from work and flying.
