Places to take your family camping, fishing south of perth?

Hi Guys
Mate lives near Bunbury and want to meet him somewhere sort of half way between us (North or River Perth) and him.
Where can you actually camp and fish on the beach down that way.
Apparently whitehills is a no go ?!?
Anyone know anywhere else we can take the families?
We only want to go for one night over the weekend.

Why not a change of tactics
Why not a change of tactics and hit the hills. Dwellingup is central and the upper Murray river area has a heap of great little spots for camping + a shithouse for the ladies and if the weather is a bit suss your not going to cop it as bad up there as you would on the beach. Also with a fresh water licence you can have a fish. Should be plenty of redfin perch or a trout to have a crack at.

Theres spot just north of
Theres spot just north of Australind called Belvidere run by the DEC. You just pay the ranger some money when he comes round.
The camp site is in the forrest but it's a five minute 4x4 drive down to the beach for fishing.
