Just a heads up- Rockingham Rangers were "red hot" with Parking Infringement Fines today.
Not only on the so called grassed area's inside the Parking Area,but also out on Point Peron Road.
Heaps of cars with Infringements- Really not in the Xmas spirit!
Anyway,you have been warned,because they will surly be there again tomorrow!

always been bad down there but the rangers need to be a bit leanient when its full . fine the cars taking up boat trailor bays but leave the boaties alone

And guess what- The Council has increased the Parking Fines to $100.00.
Merry Christmas to one and all from the Rockingham Council!
"The City of Rockingham also passed a Local Parking Law for parking fines to increase from $65 to $100.
The $65 parking penalty was made in 2006. The $65 penalty was now considered too low to act as a deterrent to parking illegally and was disproportional to the costs of collection by the City if unpaid.
The increase to a $100 modified penalty was in line with other local governments."

Yep, I got there about 1100, gentlemens start, could believe the overflow of vehicles and trailers, said to the daughter the ranger will be out today, they have it in their calendar, it is the biggest time of the year for them. Tickets on heaps of windscreens, Merry Christmas Rockingham residents
I saw cars parked in the trailer bays, what numpties, fine them I say.

You blokes don’t have to pay a launching fee so you’re still in front over a cray season even if you cop a fine.

There's obviously a need for more parking down there, locals need to lobby for this so the council will have to get off their arse and do something to alleviate the problem. After all you guys are the ratepayers.

id like to see infringement notice for fishos that park their boat & trailer in wash bay then casually go to filleting table fillet their fish then wash their boat and when asked if they coud move because of the bank up just give you a stare and continue doing their thing ,,,,,, yes that was yesterday for me at 3.15pm ......the morning started well though 8 boats in front waiting to launch when got to 1 left he wanted to launch on the first ramp so held up me and rest behind me all because we could not go past him .

Went out from cpba with another couple who have only owned the boat for a year and been out 5 times.
such a good nite last night the place was packed. Would of been easier to launch at the public ramp.

We had this problem
We had this problem yesterday with the car park full. Had to park on the road had to park on the road luckily there was no fines. But 100 percent need to make an overflow car park somewhere down there to prevent this problem.
And for stupid people not even with a boat parked in the rigging zone where it clearly says no parking rigging only

The Ranger ?? ( a young Lady still wet behind the ears ) was there today around 930am.
I couldnt help myself and had to have a quiet word with her.
She said she was only handing out warnings today.
Oh and she said she loves her job.

Glad the beach ramp in Warnbro is back open. Rocked up with 4 cars side by side backing into the water. Carpark full and the roads were empty trailer to bonnet with cars one after the other.
No queue, no agro, no parking fines.

Rockingham Rangers- At it again. Fantastic boating weather,Rottness swim on,and you can guess where the Rangers were this morning. Putting Parking Infringement on windscreens at the Point Peron Boat Ramp.
Geez they must be getting some revenue dollars from this area. I did a quick count,at least 60 vehicle's with Infringments.
No doubt they will be there again tomorrow!

Yep , theres no excuse for not providing enough parking at these public places then fineing people , when theres no spots left .( ironiccly there the only ones that
can approve more bays)
Oh over the years we have heard all the sayings , we are just doing a job , we cant have people parking where they like etc etc
Total petty , money grubbing crap.
We live in one of the most affelent countrys , with vast amounts of land , and we get fined for parking on a unused verge for a few hours ,
by the very mob that only exsist cause we pay rates.
Well they can take my rates and retire there parking officers , give there utes to charity and grab a life while there at it.
HAHA , i dont even live there and im pissed off.

they have always been a pain in the ass. never enough parking and when they have a function at the navy club its even worse. we thaught about heading to rocko for a fish but decided not to for that reason so ended up at dawesville.

I would assume it is just like a police car (not at a job). They would have to be parked legally to be handing out tickets...? Pity no one got a picture of where they parked.

I was down there on Sat, luckily got there early. Couldn't believe the amount of parking fines handed out. Would be a lot of unhappy boaters after a great day on the water.
I did notice that none of the cars parked out on the main road had a ticket? maybe they just hadn't got to them yet.

Other day in rocko. No parking and everyone parked up on verge. Always been like that . Never see any people getting parking tickets there. Boaties always cop it . Overflow on palm beach gets opened when they get there.? During the week sometimes it doesn’t get unlocked.

Not that often when the wind isn’t howling on a weekend so of course there’s going to be a lot of people taking their boat out. So you head to the ramp launch the boat and find there’s no parking. What are you supposed to do turn around and retrieve your boat and go home? Cancel the family boating day?

Quite a populated area down there these days, you'd think they could set up an overflow carpark on summer weekends. Bunch of money grabbing flogs. I copped a ticked the other day when I'd actually paid for a ticket, had it displayed in the middle of my Ranger dash but because the fuckstick couldn't make an effort to have a propper look he fined me. Currently in their disputes department with a photo from me clearly showing my valid parking ticket on the dash.

my apprentice left his wallet on the job site we were working on. so the following day when he walked in to retrieve it he came back out to get a ticket and the ranger was there issueing a ticket.
told him the scenario..... he could not give a shit just said too bad....arrogant prick!

i know these guys and girls are only doing their job but they need to show some common sense . it just seems these days they are on commission , the more tickets issued the more $ they make.

I have a harley davidson that has been converted to a trike , I rode it to the waikiki shoping centere and parked in a dedicated motorcycle parking bay , stupid ranger comes over and says if i dont move it to a car parking bay she would book me , so i sat on it and told her" go ahead book me , your going to look stupid but as i need a bike licience to ride this thing and its regoed as a motorcycle" of she goes to to her ute and spends the next 20 minutes on her phone then drives of no sorry i was wrong you can park there , i contacted the ranger dept at council to get an explination , we will get back to you i was told 2 months later i am still waiting for them to get back to me
