Don't know what happened
Don't know what happened there and couldn't see a problem with it. Maybe ask admin.

Thanks for the offer Psion
i wasn't actually chasing wind ons and I think sea kem answered my question. Was just wondering why this guy had been singled out for so called commercial selling when others are doing the same, I don't have a problem with people making a bit of pocket money and doing members a favour but same rule should apply for all.

Consistency
Where's the consistency? For sale section, guy making batches of sinkers and selling nobody comments on... Guy making Wind on leaders and people have concerns not supporting site sponsors...

I did see
I did see the thread, and to be honest thought it was written like commercial selling.
He was a new member with no previous posts, offering products for sale by order, and offered delivery too.
Maybe if he posted a thread on how he made them with some pictures he might have received some inquires without being a problem
However as stated above, I have seen similar posts that were not questioned. I don't know if they have an agreement with Adam or not.
Just my 2 cents, and at the end of the day its up to Adam and the moderators to decide.
Cheers Grant .

to be honest
I am not a site moderator or admin and don't really have time to monitor what goes on here. There are people that make them for a living, pay taxes/fees on them and have refined their technique making them enough to be 100% sure they will not pull out or fail. I think it needs to be made known that these other people are legit businesses. What's so wrong with that?
The bloke was a member on here for 8 days and then starts advertising them. Where's the loyalty??

Bucky hit it on the head
consistency is all that is questioned here. At the prices that guy was charging for the leaders he was Hardley killing the pig, by the time materials were taken into account I reakon he might have made 4 or 5 bucks per leader considering these would take at least 15 mins to make each that's not a lot, as for quality probably as good as any shop bought product.
Anyway as said what's good for one should be good for all.

Yeah that's the way I saw it
Yeah that's the way I saw it he was just making some pocket money. Definitely need some consistancy on how they are managed. I also said at the time if he had a business name and was pushing a product then wouldn't have touched him. I support the site sponsors as well and have just placed a big order for bait and terminal tackle with Oceanside for our upcoming trip.
