pre made shark rigs

Hey guys and gals, was wondering if anybody knew of any tackle shops that sell pre made rigs for sharks, I have a few single hook rigs at home but was chasing some with snell'ed circle hooks, I am heading down south on Friday and was hoping to get by then, or if anybody can make some up il be happy to buy some off you.

I havn't seen any snelled rigs in tackle shops anywhere but that doesn't mean they are not out there. Making a snelled rig on wire is very simple so it shouldn't be a problem to do it yourself. All you have to do is take one of your single hook rigs & add a second piece of wire running from the eye of the already attached hook down to the eye of what will become your bottom hook. You should be able to pick up some 49 strand wire (or 7 strand if that's what your using) & suitable crimps from any tackle store.

I use Owner or Gamakatsu 10/0

I use Owner or Gamakatsu 10/0 circles for my shark rigs. 150lb 7 strand should fit through the eye of those hooks if you are only after smaller sharks. If you want to go for bigger sharks & want to use a 49 strand wire then just attach the hook to the wire using a heavy duty split ring rather than attaching the wire to the hook directly.

just make them yourself,if u n.o.r il show u how. just use a figure of eight knot and go straight onto the hook with your steel, no need for crimps , crimps are for fisherman that cant tie knots.
