Such a shame the ORSSC
Such a shame the ORSSC weren't provided marina access like the CPBC and seems massive opportunity missed.

That would have been a huge
That would have been a huge bonus for ORSSC members Frosty. It works so well at Cockburn.

I'd have already joined up
I'd have already joined up but don't see the point otherwise as we don't live in the surrounding area.

Yeah no point really. A mate
Yeah no point really. A mate lives in Iluka and keeps his boat in the ORSSC enclosure because he lives around the corner.

I don’t understand
Why do they make the poles to one side of the walkway?
why don't they put them in the middle?
when launching or retrieving you have to throw ropes around the pole. It doesn't make sense to me. Can someone explain why they do that?

I'd imagine it allows wider
I'd imagine it allows wider things to be transported down the walkway, compared to if the poles were smack bang in the middle.

It's for strength as well.
It's for strength as well. As they have to be floated onto the piles, if the piles were in the middle all the load would have to be transferred down one very narrow side. This would be a major weak point.

Yeah it's weird
Someone will know, I prefer the ramps with small wooden poles on each side, gives me something to hang on to! Not a fan of those lugs on the top on the walkways either
