Question for hilux people

Have got this hose hanging down on the front left corner of a hilux at work, can anyone tell me what it it. It doesnt appear to screw onto anything and the hose is maybe 8mm plastic.

looks like a breather hose ( diff breather, gear box ), where does it go to?

I haven't traced it all the way back, they dont like us doing anything more than a pre start on the vehicles. But I'm thinking breather also, or maybe a condensate drain from the A/C.

Looks & sounds like an ignition lead to me. You sure it's not just one been left lose in the engine bay after a service? If not look & see if it's supposed to be radiator to over flow

Found out today after tracing it back, it's the base of the UHF antenna that was on the bull bar at some time. It has snapped off. The plastic tube is the coax.

How do they rate them where you work?
I'll be in the market in probably 12 months, i'll try n squeeze another couple of long trips out of the 07 lux that has been sensational.
Not sure 100% if i'll go down the lux road again so anyones experiences with them or others good and bad i'd be interested in.

No boon, this ones a few years old. We don't do hilux anymore, it would seem the mob I work for got a good deal on Colorado's. Every site has 4 or 5 of em.
