I can see this ending badly
With no one giving ground I think talk about the ashes might be a bridge to far.

Peter mac you must have been
Peter mac you must have been a fearsome forbidden fruit back in your hay day... Like that of a browning half squashed banana...
Good on the players, the top tier players looking after the lower end lads and even ( dare i say it.... ) the chics....
Cricket Australia ( who the fuck are they ) cant operate without the players..... The players certainly can operate without Cricket Aus so i can only see there being one winner.....

Not really a sports person
Not really a sports person but I thought the cricketers made it pretty clear last week that they play for the money and no one / nothing else really matters.

The players have had a
The players have had a revenue sharing model since 2012 where they get between 24.5% and 27% of Australian Cricket Revenue.
Now that deal has expired Cricket Australia wants to take all that money for themselves.
I don't blame the players for standing up for themselves, do we really need more money going into the hands of the cricket administrators?

You heard it from me...
This will all be settled in the next ten days and we will move on and enjoy whipping the poms this summer.
Only shame is that it won't be in the new stadium

im also siding with the players
any other model can offset income to show even a loss and on that basis players would be totally screwed over , classic example of admins. greed

What was ya stock ball
What was ya stock ball Pdiddy? If you fought Lester Ellis as a pro you'd have been super featherweight so around 5'5-5'7 so no room for error in both the line where you pitched it or your length.
I'd imagine you came in tight to the stumps to angle it in slightly, on or fractionally short of a length, on off-stump and moved it away relying on the odd ball to nip back in off the seam?

That’s an understandable
That’s an understandable tactic seeing as there is no chance you’d have had a decent bouncer at the chin in your repertoire.
So what you are asking me to believe is that Scitech which is a centre built in 1988 and is solely dedicated to science programs and education for children under 12 has an activity that uses a unit of measurement that Australia disbanded in 1970? How much does it cost to get in these days 4 pound, 6 pence and a shilling? Does the tram run out there from the Hay Street Mall?

if i got a baggy green
if i got a baggy green i would play for free no problem(never going to happen) but think the aussie cricket team is a spoilt over paid bunch of blokes , bloody hell they play cricket not afl or arl games where you get hurt and in saying that i am nominating Johnathon Thurston for aussie of the year what a great bloke he is and has the best smile in sport instead of a growl

Starc Hazelwood Pattinson
Starc Hazelwood Pattinson Cummins and ( drum roll ) Peter Mac at his fearsome 8.1mtrs/hr according to a calculation Peter Mac saw on beyond 2000 back in 1974
