If I spent half as long fishing , as I do reading this bloody forum , I'd be twice the fisherman I am.

Slaying those dhuies Paul and Jesse. 100 to 200 dhuies by the end of year would be pretty impressive Paul and great for the fishery! Just gotta hope that if other catch a tagged fish they report it.

I'm sure you'll get some recaptures soon Paul.

I've caught 3 of my tagged Dhuies so far (one of them 4 times) and a mate called me last night to ask what tag #'s mine are, sure enough another recapture.

Sun, 2011-05-08 22:50

bloody Jessee strikes again . when are you going to teach that kid how not to catch fish. and why is he still using plastics, i reckon he could put down an empty hook and still catch them .

well done guys. your rate of tagging is awesome, gunna be none left up there without a piece of you in it soon

Top stuff Paul

Mon, 2011-05-09 08:38

Pete D and I managed to put another 5 or 6 tags in on Thursday, but all small dhuies under 50cm. I'd say I have about 20 tagged dhuies in a 3nm radius now so hopefuly I will get a few recaptures this year, but at the rate I'm going I doubt I'll get anywhere near 100 tags in by the end of the year. My boat hadn't hit the water since about Feb.
