looking at getting a lowrance hds10 but i would like to know with the navionics card does it have to be in the sounder 247 for it to work or is it somthing you can just download and then remove the card ?

i take it out
only when i get my boat serviced , is your boat stored safely? like most things now days better to be safe with all boat equipment ,
