Last minute decision for a trip to get a feed . Was a bit cloudy from the night before so was a bit slow off the mark but managed to get going by 6.30am but half way to the ramp saw us having to turn around ( forgot to fuel up) so with a another half hour delay we were on the water. Once we got around honeymoon cove it was a bit rougher than expected with some left over slop from the night before but we pushed on and an hour and a half later we were on the spot . My mate philty was straight on with a nice red and the young bloke was getting pretty chirpy with a solid trout , i managed a couple nice saddletail  then my young bloke came upp on a solid fish only to be snapped off much to his disgust. About 2 minutes later i hooked up to something decent a couple minutes later up come a nice rankin but this fish had my sons rig in its mouth and i had hooke onto his top hook . The little shit still trying to claim it as his fish but all in all a good day with some nice trout , reds , saddletail and rankins caught .
