Quobba Trip 2010
Submitted by johnray on Mon, 2010-07-12 18:56
G'day Gents. Just returned from my annual week long trip to Quobba with FW member RIG where the weather was superb and the mackies were going gaga taking lures and balloon baits from all the usual spots both north and south of the homestead. Many mackies were between 20kg to 25kg and I was lucky enough to land my lifetime personal best and the biggest of the season at 32.5kg. Ray

What - No Photos???
Would love to see the pics myself too! If you need to downsize pics then try downloading VSO Image Resizer. Just Google it. It's free and very easy to use.

Quobba going off
Tell us about it, one particular morning we bagged out in an hour and a half. Rig was on the bottom ledge gaffing and I was cranking them in on one foot with 80lb braid. We had a couple of aerial strikes and a few underwater attacks. It was on of those red letter weeks at Quobba, the ones that keep you coming back year after year.

Ankle update
Guys, went to the specialists today for an ultrasound which shows that i've sustained a torn ligament in my left ankle, might need an operation to repair before we head off back to quobba for another session, acid!!! p.s the mackies were worth it.
