Well game of the round is Adelaide and WC.....
Tough one to pick, if the Eagles can kick more than 3 goals they are a chance of a win but on recent form you wouldn't be including them in a multi....
This morning the Hawks were paying $9 against the Dees..... The Dees being Melbourne, Melbourne being the shittest club in the history of shitness....
Does anyone else get the feeling that the wheel nuts will start to loosen and the closer Melbourne get to the big dance the more chance they'll have of smacking into a Karri tree at 110km/h when all 4 wheels go flying into the scrub....
Dogs/Cats GF.....
The roughie for me this week is Nth to roll the Bombers who might get knocked back a peg but don't listen to me my footy tipping has been ratshit this year.....
Carn the Hawks......
Oh and Frost.... Gaff wont free up anywhere near enough Cap space for your club to do anything in the next few years, like what does that achieve having 800k in the pool but losing a player like him....
I disagree with your comments that he is not one of your better ball users, I'm not talkin in the last month I'm taking a snap shot of his career....
Shame you can't have another half a dozen Liam Ryans......
Dont suppose anyone would have two spare tix for the WC Stk game next week assuming it goes ahead, I wouldn't mind taking my 6 year old little sports nut son....

It gets you back into the
It gets you back into the draft to develop and blood some young mids and space to piss off rubber chest Darling and chase a player like Aaron Naughton under free agency.

Dude Darling ( as much asit pains me to say this ) is a very good player for you guys, his stats back that up...
Losing Kennedy at years end and then wanting to get rid of Darling would leave blokes like Liam Ryan very vunerable, right now those big fellas kick 3-5 goals most weeks and need to take the best defenders attention....
I'd be keeping Gaff and rattling the jar at a team meeting in front of NN, Shoey, Yeo, Gaff, Mcgovern ( 1.2 mill!!!! ), Kelly sheed and the likes and telling them all they need to throw 200k each back in the kitty and that will go a long way to doing what you mentioned above.....
Watching that footage of Yeo and Mcglovin makes me think these fellas are going to sink a lot lower unless they decide to have a proper crack as a team unit and that means freeing up cap space and trying to get some very good WA players back from interstate with the promise of a potential crack at a flag....
They dont drop their salaries and oh dear I can see years of pain for WCE.....
Just my two cents worth.......

Who said anything about
Who said anything about year's end? I am saying that if we could lure Naughton (which I think is highly unlikely) back to WA then he replaces Darling like for like but better but I just saw that Naughton comes out of contract in 2024 so not available for free agency and we'd have to put up a big offer to the WB so not happening.
NN already took a significant pay cut in 2019 and it looks like the tin has already been rattled and they're playing like it too www.afl.com.au/news/545527/west-coast-pay-story. Gov's contract bought us a flag so I'll take that but the Kelly trade is beginning to show all the hallmarks of a hale mary gone wrong. He was the 4th midfield at Geelong and he'd still at least 3rd in line at WCE.

Geelong are playing a hard
Geelong are playing a hard nosed and clean brand of footy that will hold up well in the finals.

Bigger stronger team for
Bigger stronger team for sure....I'm thinking that's Fremantle first wet weather game for the year, they couldn't string two hand passes together in them conditions.
While the groups young...with Monday nights game and the conditions you would have though JL would have had them training down Bibra lake the last week.

From the small sample size I
From the small sample size I saw, I saw a lot of Freo players with raised heads or shortstepping the loose ball looking to avoid contact purely due to the bigger bodies of the Geelong players coming in with intent. That half second of hesitation attacking the ball is the different between getting out a clean handball or creating space or handballing/kicking under pressure. I learnt this the hard way in my first couple of games playing in the Mortlock league where a half hesitation gets you poleaxed by some roo meat eating farm boy anyway so you may as well attack it and get the clean ball out.

I was unfortunate enough to
I was unfortunate enough to go to that game last night. Hosting for work. I took my daughter who is a mad Cats fan so that was good but a shit game overall. Freo spent too much time arguing with umpires about disputed decisions, like West Coast on Monday. When was the last time you saw an ump reverse a decision because a player argued with them?

Colliwobbles alive and well today
I believe that Carlscum scored 10 of the last 11 goals.
Happy the Eagles won for Nic Nat today. Pity they didn't play the same way against Norfs.
Hopefully Connor West will develop with the other younger players and there may be a brighter future for the Eagles.

The Hawks did well Boon
Though Melbourne are tapering off formwise it seems.
Certainly an improved performance from the Hawks compared to last round.
