re swell

What is it lately with this swell the winds had died down the last couple of days but the swell is still about the 2.5 to 3 metre swell makes it uncomfortable to even go out in a big boat common wind gods Im on holidays

Far off systems
The swell comes from far off weather systems and usually doe'sn't get a chance to die off before the next one comes through.
2 - 3 metre swell is bugger all to fish in, jjust let you bait hang back further from the boat if you are worried about fish not coming off the bottom to grab it.

Agreed - 2 to 3m is nothing, so long as the wind doesn't come in!
When asked by a non-fisherman 'how many fishing rods do you really need?' the correct answer is either:
