Recent Trip North

Just back from my first trip North...hit Leeman with a few mates for the first time towing the old girl up and tenting at the caravan park.

Hit some magic weather although finding fish wasn't easy....still a great trip and a few fillets in the freezer...Lucky to hit some schooling snapper, decent Dhue at 9kg with plenty of Baldies. other boat similar with a large Spangly landed.

Only managed the one tuna out of the school under the boat...being chased by 2 large bronzies.

Certainly had some nice weather. A few great fish to top it off. Most importantly you got away and had time to just chill out getting the fish was a bonus . Well done

Cheers Lads...Yeah was hoping for better but with a northerly in most days I blamed that. Wasn't expecting the rain Saturday night, we were up late on the turps so the Sunday morning was a bit slow till we came good.

Good Effort

Good Effort Brock, more so as you had no experience of the place.

Some good Snapper mate especially the big boy with the bump on the head.
