Cervantes Charter / Fishing
Submitted by Helen on Wed, 2020-06-03 13:35
Hi peeps. I’m going to be heading to Cervantes for a camping trip with friends and was thinking about going up on Thursday 18th June to do a fishing charter or maybe staying on the Sunday to do one then. I can only see one fishing charter for Cervantes. Can anyone recommend a good charter that way? I need some more fish for my freezer! Photo for bragging purposes! Lol.
Thanks

Pretty sure Lobster Shack are the only ones to do charters out of Cervantes unless you drive to Jurien.

Yeah I think they are the only one in Cervantes. Jurien opens up more options but maybe just try Lobster Shack.

I have heard that reel force
I have heard that reel force out of Lancelin are pretty epic, mate went out last year in one of their deep drop charters and reckoned it was amazing. Bit of a drive from Cervantes but may b worth a look.

the Laccelin one is the best, closer to the continental shelf, the bay near from cervantes to Lacelin is almost fished out. cheers Don

Thanks peeps. They aren’t
Thanks peeps. They aren’t running until 27th and we were hoping to go out on Thursday 18th. Do you reckon If i posted it on the forum to see if anyone wanted to take about 5 or 6 of us out in Jurien/Cervantes area that there would be people keen if we paid them instead of a charter? Or is that not allowed?

Pretty sure that's not
Pretty sure that's not allowed. You need the boat to be in charter for a certain number of people then insurances etc. You might be lucky enough to find people that would take you out for contribution to fuel, food, beer etc. Fishos can be a bloody generous lot in my experience!
