But have seen a photo of Ryan from Oceanside with a nice red and a mcarthys plastic hanging out of its gob

Interesting topic,lots of us head north annually to hopefully get into some reds , Would be real interesting to know from you that have taken it further and caught them on artificials

I've heard of them on plastics - but never jigs.
That's not to say it hasn't happened though!

I have a fair few plastics
and will take my dermersal jigs i was just going to get a couple more of each to give a try.

Caught plenty on placcys and
Caught plenty on placcys and plenty on octa jigs. Not many on knife jigs though.
Does anyone know where the love of god goes, when the waves turn the minutes to hours?

Leadheads
Caught them on sweetened leadheads, but when I was after the big boys, a good set of charlie court or red throat wings did the business.
WA based manufacturer and supplier of premium leadhead jigs, fligs, bucktail jigs, 'bulletproof' soft plastic jig heads and XOS bullet jig heads.
