Red Emporer and Coral Trout

Hi all.
heading up to Shark Bay for the yearly boys fishing trip. I would love some advice and general locations, depth etc, to target reds and trout. We have caught a couple in years gone by but they have always been a bycatch as the trouts have been taken whilst trolling for Macks and the reds while Bottom baiting for Pinks. Any and all help is appreciated

Wherever you've caught reds,
Wherever you've caught reds, go back there and have a good look around for bottom that doesn't rise much maybe a bit of rubbley looking ground...reds dont always hang on ledges etc they love the outskirts of areas
trout...8-20m
has to be ledges, bombies, fan coral type bottom
wont get a trout on any country
They are aggressive
if they are there and hungry u will get em
