Red Throat Emperor

Fishing in 60m yesterday off Mandurah caught a 50cm Red Throat that was released. A first for me, did think it was a bit far south.

 must have been the day for it Woodsy i got one same size  to in 55m of bunbury yesterday amongst other things ..

 I have heard of a quite a few getting caught just north of rotto. Sounds like they are migrating south still. Pity it wasnt a red emperor. Generally most wont keep them as they are cat 1  and not realy big enough to keep even tho they are of legal size
