redfin

hi all
i have started fishing the murray river just south of pinjarra and people have said there is redfin in there, i was just wondering what the best way to catch them is, whether to use lures or live bait or what.
please help

mate, redfin would eat a dead
mate, redfin would eat a dead shoe! honestley if you bait fish, lure fish or soft plastics. even jigging against dead wood will produce redfin if there there.

Grew up catching redfin in the Hotham River through Boddington and had best success strolling along the banks flicking little spinners or if I was feeling lazy just a few earthworms generally did the trick

light line and any small
light line and any small lure. let the lure sink a fair bit. celta spinners are probably the best.
a couple worms on a hook and a small split shot to help you cast out. let it sink to the bottom, then slowly retrieve
