Funny you mention that.
Funny you mention that.
I noticed the reel was a little noisy over thew weekend, so I opened my reel up. Last time I did this, it was ok but this time I found a knackered bearing I need to replace. Usually I just lay it out on the desk but this time someone dropped in, I got about 8 phone calls, my son climbed onto the desk, and my partner threw the days mail from the doorway to my desk further scattering the parts. This must be why people just pay to have their reel serviced?
I found one (dry) sealed bearing had gone, so off to the shops to get a new set.
Wish me luck!
