a couple of small squid from last r and r

went out for a quick squid last week and with weather conditions way too good for squiding it was hard work! less than a knot of wind and not enough time to head deep i persisted with no drift! i ended up with six nice size squid with the biggest weighing in at 1.26kg and the smaller 970grams was a great day out to just float around!

depth was 5 metres and using the duo d squids and dart max squid jigs

Nice, i've got some good sized ones off hillarys recently as well, my son got one that was a 35cm hood. about 3.5 - 4.5 m of water using both yozuri (?) jigs and cheap $2 jigs from the specials bin!
