CRC and Spare Parts
CRC is something I use a lot... It works on most things. I am not sure what the rest of the crew thinks.

CRC
Pop into a Repco store or some other motoring place. Ask the guys. It's something you spray on rust etc. Fights water corrosion and rust.

Not sure its a glue though LOL
If the reel is in that bad condition you have problems LOL. Cosmetic problems can be fixed but engeneering problems require cash and spare part....

Use Inox or WD40 same type
Use Inox or WD40 same type of thing but not the same type of oil base as CRC. Can spray it on your line and the fish don't go yuk that is horrible stuff. WD40 is actually fish oil based, one of their recommended uses is to spray it on your bait as fish attractant. I don't do that though, just as an anti-corrosive.

Don't know weather it will
Don't know weather it will attract fish or not never tried it as a berley. Sorry I probably should have choosen my words a little more carefully. It is allegedly fish oil based and if you do a google search quite a few people claim it attracts fish (maybe coincidence). Personally I have no problems spraying my reels, lures etc down with WD 40 or Inox to prevent corrosion but won't use CRC. Having said that CRC do make some brilliant products. I'm sure there are better attractants than a dewatering fluid.
